2025-2026 hiring
We are currently welcoming applications for various full-time and part-time positions for the Fall of 2025-26 as well as summer time substitutes. Candidates with classroom experience highly preferred, but it is not a requirement.

Primary Lead Teacher
We are looking for a Primary (3-6) Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates should hold Children’s House/Primary certification from a MACTE-accredited training center or be willing to begin training before starting work. We are looking for individuals who will be committed to upholding Montessori techniques and philosophy while supporting colleagues and families with an emphasis on collaboration and support. Punctuality and strong written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is a deep respect for children and our environment. We strive to create to a joyful, diverse, and peaceful school.
Salary starts between $33,000 and $37,000 for the Academic year based on experience and training. The Academic calendar runs from early-August to early June with Summer contracted separately. Schedule M-F, 8-3. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, holiday pay, and Simple IRA.
Long-term Toddler Lead Teacher substitute
We are looking for a long-term substitute for a toddler classroom for the 2025-2026 school year. This position would ideally start with introductions in early August to allow families to be comfortable with the candidate ahead of our current Lead Teacher starting maternity leave in September. The substitute position would fully begin in September and last through early November. Extension into a regular substitute contract is an option if desired. Established hours for this position are M-F 8-3. Prior experience leading a classroom with young children and willingness to adopt Montessori practices is a must. The ideal candidate would have Montessori Toddler MACTE-accredited training.
Starting pay $17-19/hour, depending on experience. Pay for candidates with Montessori teacher certification is higher with adjusted responsibilities. Benefits include paid school holidays and additional PTO.
Assistant Teachers
We are currently looking for assistant teachers to work with children at the primary level (3-6), with opportunities for full-time or part-time work throughout the extended day schedule. Assistant teachers collaborate with the lead teachers to maintain the classroom and support the children’s development. This position comes with opportunities for growth and school sponsored Montessori training for candidates interested in a career in Montessori education. An ideal candidate would have classroom experience, preferably in a Montessori environment, but this is not a requirement.
Starting pay $16-17/hour based on experience and training. Benefits include holiday pay and PTO as well as Health and Dental coverage, tuition discount, and Simple IRA for full-time employees.
